We are all looking for more instructional time in our day. Sometimes social studies can get lost in this crunch for time. Together we will explore effective ways to integrate reading and writing strategies into social studies instruction. After spending this learning time together, you will walk away with ideas to incorporate lessons from Serravallo's Reading Strategies and Writing Strategies books and The Comprehension Toolkit Content Literacy books.
