Are your students missing the connection between grammar study and writing? Are you unsure how grammar fits into your literacy instruction? Utilizing strategies from Janet Angelillo and Jeff Anderson, we will explore authentic ways to teach grammar. These engaging ideas will help students make connections between their reading and writing. You'll walk away with practical ways to infuse grammar into your writing workshop using mentor sentences, mini-lessons, and word work. You will have time to collaborate and plan grade-level grammar lessons and routines. This workshop includes 3 follow-up days during the school year.
